1 · Event
Event settings (pre-filled from the tournament — adjust for a paper-only event or a special format)
Changing the tournament, a flight's tee or the Gold-pool box re-defaults every player's tee on every card; per-player tees are set last, on the rows below. Women default to Red when they hold a Red course handicap (club convention) — except on a one-tee event such as Member Appreciation Day, where they default to the flight tee — changeable per player. Playing handicaps round half-up like the Champions workbook.
2 · Build the cards
Import a pairings list (paste from Excel / Google Sheets, or a CSV / XLSX file) — builds every card at once
One row per player. Columns can be in any order; these headings are recognised: Card (or Group / Match — rows with the same value share a card; leave blank to fill four per card in order), Tee time and Start hole (optional — printed in the card's header; with no Card column, rows sharing a tee time share a card), Name (or First + Last), Club (blank or HGC = member; anything else = visitor), GHIN Index (needed for visitors; ignored for members — the Friday roster wins — unless the override box below is ticked), Team (1 / 2 / Indiv — the match number on a singles card), P (rotation spot, optional), Tee (optional). Download a template CSV
3 · Club builds — saved for every officer
A club build is this page's event settings and cards, saved to the club's Google Sheet so any officer can open it on any device — for the night-before player swap, or to keep two versions of a weekend. Everything here needs the officer code (the same code as the scoring app): seeing the list, loading, saving and deleting. This browser remembers the code and your name. The build on this page is still kept in this browser as before; a club build is a copy of it.
4 · Print
In the print dialog: Landscape, Letter, margins Default, Headers and footers off, Background graphics on (keeps the shaded rows). Scale 100%.
